The WAWA 18 and WAWA 35 plans cost RM18 and RM35 respectively, with a validity period of 30 days. While new ONEXOX prepaid customers usually get 28 months of validity as a welcome deal, WAWA customers are not eligible for this offer. Instead they have the option to extend the validity period by purchasing six months validity for RM18 or 12 months validity for RM25.
As for what you get with the plans, XOX advertises that WAWA 18 comes with 18GB of data and 100 minutes while WAWA 35 comes with 35GB and 300 minutes. However, this is a bit misleading as only new subscribers get an additional 8GB and 5GB of data, with the regular quota for existing users under WAWA 18 and WAWA 35 being 10GB and 30GB respectively. Unlike Xpax’s competing plans which come with high speed internet, both WAWA plans are limited to a speed of only 3 Mbps. And while its ONEXOX BLACK plans enable carrying forward unused data, this seems to be lacking in the new prepaid offerings. The only upside is that there is no hotspot limit as long as you do not go over your internet quota.
It’s important to note that the additional data for new subscribers is a promotion that is only valid from 2 August to 31 October 2022. If you run out of internet, you either can renew your WAWA plan or purchase add-ons that range from RM2 for 500MB up to RM8 for an extra 5GB. (Source: XOX [1][2])
