To start, the Xiaomi Mi 9 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, as previously revealed. Additional details about the phone include the new three cameras around the back. But now we also have the breakdown of the three-camera main shooter.
First and foremost s the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. The second is a 16MP ultra-wide lens with a 117-degree field of view, followed by a 12MP sensor equipped with 2x telephoto zoom. On the front, we have the 20MP front-facing camera sitting in a teardrop-shaped notch. Now that we’re at the front, there’s the 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display. Over it is a piece of Corning Gorilla Glass 6, which also protects the in-display fingerprint reader.
Lastly, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also supports fast charging. Called Charge Turbo, Xiaomi made it so that the Mi 9 is compatible with chargers that can output up to 27W. On the wireless front, the Mi 9 can also be charged wirelessly with a 20W charger, which is pretty fast by wireless charging standards. The battery in the Mi 9 itself is rated at 33oo mAh. The Xiaomi Mi 9 comes in three RAM and storage configurations. One comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is priced at RMB2999 (~RM1815). The second variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, at a RMB3299 (~RM1997). The final configuration comes with its own special transparent back and Alita: Battle Angel-related branding. This model’s got 12GB RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a RMB3999 (~RM2421) pricetag,
The highest tier model aside, the Mi 9 has got three colour options – Lavender Violet, Ocean Blue and Piano Black. As of yet, Xiaomi has not announced if or when the Mi 9 – along with the variants – will be coming to our shores. (Source: GSMArena. Images: Xiaomi Forum)
