As a quick recap, the Mi CC9 Pro’s main camera module houses a penta-camera setup comprising a 108MP Quad-bayer sensor, a 12MP 2x telephoto lens, an 8MP 5x telephoto lens, a 20MP ultra-wide sensor, and a depth of field macro sensor for close focus. In terms of photography, the Mi CC9 Pro beats the Mate 30 Pro in the zoom, wide-angle, and texture categories. Regarding the zoom, the Mi CC9 Pro’s 108MP sensor and 5x OIS zoom sensor retains far more detail in cropped images. Compared to images of the same subject taken by the Mate 30 Pro and, a little surprisingly, the Galaxy Note10+. However, the phone scored less in the Artifacts and Night shot categories, with scores of 69 and 56, respectively. Having said that, it should be pointed out that the Mate 30 Pro didn’t far much better in the Night shot category with just five points more than Xiaomi’s latest offering. Regarding the Mi CC9 Pro’s artificing, DxOMark says explains that the reason the phone’s camera presents a noticeable falloff in sharpness in pictures is likely due to the phone’s larger 108MP sensor. At the time of writing, Xiaomi Malaysia has not specified local availability or pricing for the Mi CC9 Pro. Specs-wise, the phone is rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, between 6GB and 8GB RAM, and has up to 256GB of internal storage capacity. (Source: DxOMark // Image: DxOMark)
