To keep the list of deals interesting, the Winter Sale has what is known as highlighted deals, whereby the deals offered differ for each passing day. From our observation, many of the titles listed here are inclusive of indie titles. However, there are some triple-A titles thrown into the lot from time to time. In fact, Prey was a highlighted title, and still being sold at a 50% discount. There’s also a special “Extremely Cozy Cottage of Surprises” event, whereby Steam users are rewarded each day with three special items for each door. In total, there are 14 doors, and each door becomes accessible with each passing day. To be fair, these special items are nothing more than “knick-knacks”, so don’t go expecting a free game to be hidden within any of the doors.
The Steam Winter Sale will continue from today until 4 January 2019 at 2 AM Malaysian time. So, if there’s a game you’ve been eyeing that’s on discount, now is as good a time as any to add it to you game collection.
