The watch features a 50mm watch face and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC. The company claims that the Suunto 7 packs a battery that’s capable of lasting around 48 hours, or 12 hours when in GPS, GLONASS or Galileo tracking mode. Other than that, the watch is also shock-resistant, dirt-resistant, and water resistant up to 50 meters. Features-wise, the Suunto 7 features offline outdoor maps, heart rate sensor, altimeter, sleep tracker, and over 70 exercise modes out of the box. Additionally, it also supports typical Google Wear OS functions and apps such as Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Fit, and NFC-based payments with Google Pay. The watch is compatible to be paired with both Android and iOS smartphones. The Suunto 7 will be available in western markets on 31 January 2020 and is priced at US$479 (~RM1970). The watch’s availability in other regions including Malaysia has not been confirmed by the company just yet. (Source: Suunto.)
