The revelation was made by Manmohan Chandolu, the General Manager of POCO India in an interview with the Press Trust of India. It came just a week after the Managing Director of Xiaomi India who is also Global VP of Xiaomi, Manu Kumar Jain announced that POCO is becoming an independent brand.
However, Manmohan didn’t reveal any details regarding the new device though. That being said, a recent teaser might have pointed out that the new phone might be called Poco X2 while it has also been discovered that the Poco X2 could be a rebranded Redmi K30 4G. As interesting as all the developments above might be, it seemed that POCO’s 2020 plan revolves around the Indian market as there is no obvious mention of the global market for the time being. Nevertheless, we believe many are still eager to see what POCO has in store for 2020 especially that it is going to be the brand’s first year of being an independent entity.
