The MateBook 14 2020 is available in two configurations, either with a AMD Ryzen 5 4600H or a Ryzen 7 4800H processor. Both variants are equipped with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCI-e SSD storage. As implied in its name, the new MateBook comes with a 14-inch display, which features a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels, 2K FullView IPS and an aspect ratio of 3:2. Worth noting that the Ryzen 7 configuration of the laptop is equipped with a touch-screen display.
The new Huawei laptop includes a fingerprint sensor integrated to its power button, a pop-up webcam on the top row of its keyboard, and features Huawei Share NFC function which allows you to enable multi-screen collaboration with a compatible mobile device by the brand. In terms of connectivity, the MateBook 14 2020 features a single USB-C port for both charging and data transfer, two USB-A 3.2 Gen-1 ports, a HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also runs on the 64-bit version of Windows 10 Home Edition out of the box. The laptop is powered by a 56Wh battery which Huawei claims is capable of lasting up to 11 hours of use. It also includes support for 65W fast charging via USB-C. Huawei has not confirmed an exact release date for the Huawei MateBook 14 2020.
