As reported by The Next Web, the 48MP camera will supposedly features Sony’s IMX586 camera sensor, coupled with the AI and image processing features of the Kirin 980 SoC. Giving us an idea of what chipset the phone is going to be using. The camera sensor is also a f/2.0 CMOS sensor, using the Huawei’s Light Fusion technology. This is interesting, because prior to this, Xiaomi had already begun teasing its own 48MP sensor. At the front, the View20 also seems to sport a completely bezel-less display, complete with a punch-hole design at the top-left. Beating its two competitors, Samsung and Huawei to the proverbial punch. Beyond that, there’s not a whole else about the phone, and Honor seems to be playing that particular card close to the chest.

On top of that, this announcement wasn’t even the official launch of the phone. Rather, Honor had announced that the phone will in fact receive a launch with all the trimmings in Paris, France on 22 January 2019. (Source: TNW)
