The 2020 iPad Pro looks somewhat similar to last year’s model, but that’s where the similarities end. Both sizes are equipped with Liquid Retina displays with True Tone, high brightness, and an anti-reflective coating. Additionally, the screen also features ProMotion technology that automatically adjusts the display refresh rate up to 120Hz for smooth and responsive visuals.

Under the hood, the Apple tablet features a A12Z Bionic Chip packed with eight cores in its CPU and GPU, with the addition of the company’s Neural Engine technology. The Cupertino-based tech company promises that the device will offer incredible performance for current and next-generation apps. The new iPad Pro also features a large battery life of up to 10 hours, faster WiFi connectivity, and support for a variety of LTE bands.

Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP main for high resolution images and 4K video, and a 10MP ultra-wide angle camera to cover a wider field of view. On top of that, the iPad Pro is the first mobile device to feature a LiDAR which allows for depth sensing of up to 5 meters away. This technology also enables a whole new class of AR experiences with the ARKit and Measure applications.

Introduced along with the new iPad Pro is Apple’s new Magic Keyboard which can be attached to the tablet. The keyboard can unfold and elevate the iPad to a more comfortable viewing position in a laptop-like manner. Furthermore, the accessory also comes with a trackpad which is compatible with tablet’s iPadOS 13.4 operating system.

The iPads are available in silver and gray, starts at US$799 (~RM3,500) for the Wi-Fi model and US$949 (~RM4,150) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at US$999 (~RM4,400) for the Wi-Fi model and US$1,149 (~RM5,050) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
