In general, the Ryzen 3000XT chips offers a slight upgrade over their Ryzen 3000X counterparts. For example, AMD stated that the Ryzen 9 3900XT delivers up to 4% increase in single-threaded performance against the Ryzen 9 3900X (which we’ve reviewed before) at the identical TDP rating. Scheduled for release starting from 7 July 2020, here are their general specifications as well as USD pricing:
Unlike their 3000X predecessors, only the Ryzen 5 3600XT comes bundled with an AMD Wraith Spire cooler while users need to obtain coolers by their own for the Ryzen 9 3900XT and Ryzen 7 3800XT. AMD has recommended users to pair these Ryzen 3000XT CPUs with AIO liquid coolers to obtain the maximum amount of performance from them. In addition to unveiling the Ryzen 3000XT CPU series, AMD has also revealed the new A520 chipset. In-depth information regarding the chipset is still not available at this moment although consumers apparently will be able to get their hands on A520-based motherboards this coming August. While AMD is still keeping the pricing and release date for Ryzen 3000XT CPUs in Malaysia as secret, we were told that local consumers can expect a further announcement from the company very soon.
