First up, the T-Rex 2 sports a slightly bigger 1.39-inch AMOLED display with an always-on feature and 1,000 nit peak brightness. The display is surrounded by a thick metal-coated bezel and the watch has two textured buttons on each side. It comes in four colourways and the companion Zepp app allows you to choose from dozens of watch faces or even upload a custom photo. As for its ruggedness, the smartwatch can withstand temperatures between 70C to -40C, has humidity resistance for 240 hours, salt spray resistance for 96 hours, ice and freezing rain resistance, and shock resistance. It is also rated at 10 ATM for water resistance, therefore making it suitable for swimming up to a depth of 100 metres. For fitness tracking, it can track a whopping 150 types of sports and can automatically detect eight different workouts. It features five GPS systems, as well as a built-in compass and barometric altimeter so you can use the watch for real-time route navigation. The T-Rex 2 also has sleep tracking and 24-hour heart rate, blood-oxygen saturation (SpO2), and stress level monitoring. With the 500mAh battery, Amazfit claims that the watch can last up to 24 days with typical usage and up to 45 days on battery saver mode. At ultra-low temperatures as low as -30C, the T-Rex 2 can last up to nine days with the GPS turned off and 10 hours with GPS enabled. It takes about two hours to fully charge with the included magnetic charger. The Amazfit T-Rex 2 can be purchased now on the brand’s Shopee page at a price tag of RM799. In terms of colour choices, it is available in Astro Black and Gold, Ember Black, Wild Green, and Desert Khaki. (Source: Amazfit)
